Control Systems Engineer

The world of electric drives is developing rapidly. At Motrac Industries we are working daily on exciting, highly diverse projects for different industries. Sometimes we work on a fairground attraction, other times on an agricultural vehicle or road construction machine. We develop high-quality drivelines with the best products in the market. 

This is what you will do

At Motrac Industries we work on multidisciplinary projects and these consist of electrifying drives or developing a customer specific concept. Here all components in the (electrical) drive train must work together and be controlled in the right way and that is where we need you.  

You think along about how we can organize the control technology of the machine or drive train as smart and efficient as possible. You will work closely with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical engineers.

Specifically, this means that you:

  • Together with your colleagues, take a look at what the customer needs are and draw up a package of requirements;
  • Provide input to your sales colleagues so that they can prepare a suitable quotation;
  • Make a design of the control system;
  • Develop your design and program and parameterize the controllers in the system. In doing so, you document your work accurately;
  • Making a test plan and helping to perform the tests so that we can be sure that everything works as intended;
  • Assist the customer with commissioning;
  • Contributes to a good transfer to the after-sales departments;  
  • Supports the service engineers as needed (sometimes in the field) with any malfunctions;
  • Also shows ownership after delivery and remains keen on possible optimization possibilities of the product;
  • Ensures that the customer gets what he asks for!

Your salary will be somewhere between € 3224 - € 4,084 if you are a starter or € 4,084 - € 5,332 if you have more experience. There are also flexible working hours, a lot of freedom and more. What we ask

  • A completed college education preferably in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in or a strong affinity with control technology (e.g. PLCs, Codesys) and communication protocols (e.g. CAN and/or Modbus).
  • You communicate easily with customers and colleagues.
  • Command of the English language. German is a bonus.
  • You are result and solution oriented.
